Friday Night Lights Gambling Picks

2-2 last night with the underdog winning. Celtics over hit during garbage time. Panthers laid it on the Lightning nearly covering the over themselves. Unfortunately Vegas put up a donut against Anaheim in what was a 1-0 goalie standoff. Sixers can't seem to beat Portland regardless of who's playing for Portland. Let's try to get on the winning end of things tonight.

Boston Bruins (-180, O/U 5.5) @ New York Rangers

Boston is hot, winners of 4 straight including an OT win over the Rangers the other night. The under has been hot for both Bruins and Rangers games as of late. I expect more of the same tonight with solid goalies in net and a banged up Panarin for New York who may or may not be playing. Panarin is the engine of this Rangers team, so if he is out or in any way limited like he was after he was injured last game, then this Rangers offense suffers. I expect another game in the 4-5 goal range and a win for Boston again.

Picks: Boston -180, Under 5.5

St. Louis Blues (-136, O/U 5.5) @ Arizona Coyotes

Due to COVID issues with other teams this will be the Blues and Coyotes 5th straight game against each other. The Coyotes have won the last 3 games 4-3, 3-1, and 4-3. The Blues are a better team than the one that has lost 3 straight to the Coyotes, so I expect them to get back on track in this one.

Pick: Blues -136

Milwaukee Bucks (+108, O/U 236.5) @ Utah Jazz

Utah is the hottest team in basketball. Utah has a top 10 offense and the #1 ranked scoring defense at home. The Bucks are coming off a close loss to Phoenix in which Giannis went off for 47 points. It wasn't enough though as the Bucks rotational players are struggling a bit this year. I am going to bet Utah until they start losing. I think Utah's role players are better than Milwaukee's and thats the difference tonight.

Pick: Jazz -126

Memphis Grizzlies (+7, O/U 219) @ Los Angeles Lakers

Grizzlies had lost 4 games in a row before their last game after having won 7 in a row. This streak can be chalked up to injuries and the like. They appear to have righted the ship last game against Charlotte and that's all that matters. The Lakers are coming off 3 straight OT games which should have an affect on an older roster with a banged up AD and now Lebron. Both are questionable for tonights game, so if either are out give me Memphis with the points.

Pick: Grizzlies +7

Underdog of the night

I'm not in love with any of the underdogs tonight, so I'm not going to make a pick just for the sake of making a pick.

Overall: 18-13-0
