3-1 yesterday with an underdog win. The streak is off to a good start. Clutch comebacks by both the Warriors and the Blazers yesterday to win their games. If only Toronto could've gotten an empty netter to cash that game. I'll take the other 2 comebacks however. The NBA schedule is very weak tonight so this one is going to be hockey heavy.
New Jersey Devils (+190, O/U 5.5) @ Boston Bruins
Boston is coming off a 4-2 loss to the Isles after winning 7 of 8. This will be their first home game in 3 weeks against a Devils team playing only their second game back after their prolonged COVID postponements. Devils won their last game 5-2 against the Rangers. The Devils have been terribly inconsistent this year though and have historically struggled in their trips to Boston. I think Boston's superior PP and PK gives them a multi-goal win here.
Pick: Boston -1.5
New York Islanders (+100, O/U 5.5) @ Pittsburgh Penguins
The Islanders are rolling right now after a slow start to the year. Winners of 5 of their last 6 including one over Pittsburgh. The one loss being a shootout loss to Pittsburgh as well. These teams play tight games against each other and they are higher scoring affairs. Give me the Isles to keep it rolling tonight and the over.
Picks: Isles +100, Over 5.5
Miami Heat (-106, O/U 226) @ Sacramento Kings
Miami is coming off a tough loss to Golden State last night in which they blew a late lead. They've lost their first 3 games on this west coast swing, and probably won't have much luck turning it around tonight on a back-to-back. Sacramento probably wins this, but I like the under. 226 is too high for this Heat team.
Pick: Under 226
The Raptors may be worth a look tonight at +200 against Milwaukee, but I will not be making that pick.
